March kicked off with a bang! This might be a long post...

I started this month out in the Klaserie, where things were cooking! On my first day back I had two incredible sightings: first off two lioness on a zebra kill who, albeit not up to much, posed beautifully for the camera.

Just Lion Around.

Straight after the lions, I was alerted to another sighting: WILD DOGS! I won't go too much into the details of it right away, because I will be uploading a video of the whole saga. (UPDATE: You can view and read about it HERE).

Dope Diggity Dawgs.

Later on in the week, a sighting was called in: Sunset Dam Female (Leopard) was in a giant Marula Tree with an Impala carcass. Picture the scene: golden morning light and a yellow spotted cat. Oh my aching heart. I'll certainly upload a video of this soon too. (UPDATE: Watch it unfold right over here).

All that is Golden <3.

Here are a few more cute creatures I spotted in my short time in the Klaserie this March.

The Cuddlies of Klaserie.

Next up was a two week educational in Botswana. I'm going to breeze over these because I'll do a post soon on the whole trip, but here are a few of the highlights...

We started our trip at Tuskers Bush Camp which was low on the game spotting due to the ample water in the area and incredibly dense vegetation. I did however get one or two nice snaps.

The Tuskers Toppies.

After that we took a trip through Moremi National Park to Xobega Island. We arrived and left in the dark from this place so we didn't get to see too much. Here's a short compilation of some stuff I saw.

This is making me excited to do my Botswana post.

Next up we took a short flight to Motswiri/RAW Botswana - a SPECTACULAR little camp on the Selinda Spillway. I'm very much looking forward to telling you all about it in my Botswana post, but here's a taster of what we experienced there.

Marvellous Motswiri!!

Lastly, we bounced across the Savuti Marsh area in Chobe National Park where we stayed three luxurious nights at Ghoha Hills! While the big game sightings were slow, the birds and small beasts were off the hook. It was an absolute pleasure traversing this new spot in Botswana!

Glorious Ghoha!

And that's my March in the bag! Hope you enjoyed it and also had a fire and unforgettable month!

Mo' Fire for your March.
